Think you can’t do it? Afraid that you might fail or scared of what others might think?
Watch this video! This father-son team competes in one of the toughest triathlons in spite of some major obstacles.
Here are the lines that I love:
- “When I run it feels like my disability disappears.”
- “Rick is my motivator. There’s something unbelievable that happens to me when I’m out there competing with him.”
What do you do that makes you feel fully alive? How can you do more of it?
awesome video.
my favorite line is when the dad says that when they run he feels like he is loaning his feet and hands for his son to run.
You see so many parents who live through their kids, whether sports or some other activity. Kind of neat to see a dad who lets his son live through him.
Great point. I also loved the part where Dick says that if Rick could walk one of the first things he would do is put his father in the chair and push him. Their relationship is awesome!
